Our History

On a hot night in August 1998 in a field along the service road of Hwy 199 the Azle Arts Popcorn Players were born. The production was "Dogsbreath Deveraux, The Dastardly Doctor", a cast of 10 actors, a director, and piano man Terry Randolph took a leap of faith and a journey that we could only imagine. Five of those "Players" are still active members today - do you know who they are? This is the journey of love of theater. New friendships have been made, many will last forever. The story is a long one that spans over twenty years, many have come and gone, a couple have gone to a better place. More of our journey will follow soon - keep checking back and enjoy our story.
